I was looking around the internets today- I would like a pair of shorts for skating, and since my skate name is Minerva McGonnabrawl, I would like to customize them with:

But most customizable bottoms seem to be undies, which is kinda silly.  Anyway, I stumbled across this funny turn of phrase on CustomGlamGirl.com.  I know it’s supposed to be a riff on the Team Lachey and Team Aniston shirts that were popular for a mercifully brief time a few summers ago.  Although I suppose Team Lachey could carry the same connotations here, now that I’m thinking about it.  Anyway, come on… what do you think when you see these pants?

I really wish all the tech blogs would stop the iPhone circle-jerking. It’s like the Paris Hilton of gadget news. What don’t we know about this stupid thing? I work on Prince Street, and this morning people were lined up, from last night, around the block for this stupid overpriced glorified Sidekick. What is going to be so life-changing about this thing that it’s worth sleeping on a pee-soaked sidewalk?

And those stupid commercials- it looks like you just wave a wand and you’re at any damn website via telepathy. I guarantee there’s a whole lot of awkward stylus-pinky action involved somewhere.

Which brings me to my current rumination. We have cameras. We have MP3 players. We have internet devices. Why do we need one expensive thing that does all three poorly? Oooh, a 2MP camera… sweet!

Is that a fucking riot shield? Isn’t this country at war?

These fancy-pants drink mixers come in pretty (not plastic- I’m looking at you, TGI Friday’s!) bottles and will make your booze binges seem that much more grown up.  Apparently they’re already like super-popular in England and we all know that like, everything cool comes from there.

Via a link at Mighty Goods, I am macking on these awesome science/anatomy/etc themed pendants at Etsy.  I really dig this green one with beetle wings.  Maybe cause it looks like a gift from a Potions Master boyfriend.  Very dark arts.

Sometimes when I’m sad, I like to watch this clip of Turk dancing to Poison by Bell Biv Devoe on Scrubs. Not even in a he’s hot way, it’s just mesmerizing.  I don’t know why I’m telling you this.

…but I find their shirts a teensy bit stiff and less flattering for a curvy chick. Still and all, the prices are excellent, the designs are plentiful and clever, and I even think the shirts will fit better when you break them in. One of the tops I picked up last week was this lovebirds tee- even though I’m not a fan of white, I couldn’t get over the awesome graphic.

Pink S&M toys are such a cute contradiction.  This paddle was designed not only to spank, but to leave little heart shaped welts as well.  How adorably twisted.  And it’s studded.  Cute, and to the point.
